Job Summary

Selection Process of Rj Police

In the selection process of RJ Police for constable posts, candidates shall have to appear in four different phases.

Written Examination

Rajasthan Police Constable Exam Pattern :-

Rajasthan Police Constable Exam Pattern information is given below:

• The written test nature is objective type where you will get four options to choose one correct answer.
• There will be a composite paper of three parts which will carry 75 marks in total.
• Total number of questions is 150 Objective Type in objective paper.
• The total Time/Duration of objective exam will be of two hours.
• There would a provision of negative marking of 1/4.

Note – There Will be 40% Qualifying Marks for General & OBC Candidates is 40% whereas there is a provision of 36% Marks for SC/ST Candidates. On the other hand, qualifying marks for SC/ST Candidates is 30% each. Finally, students belong to Tribal Sub Plan Areas and 25% Marks each for Saharia Candidates of District Baran in Part A, B & C Separately.

  Information about crime against women and children and related provisions / rules (related information will be made available on the website).
• Part-D 22.5 Marks, Questions 45
  History Of Rajasthan, Culture, Art, Geography, Economy and Polity etc. of Rajasthan.

Physical Test (Qualifying in Nature)

Measurement :

The candidates who successfully cleared the written test will be called for physical test in which their height, chest/weight measurements will be noted.

Details of marks and time allotted for कांस्टेबल सामान्य/ ऑपरेटर/ चालक/ बैंड/ घुड़शावर/ श्वानदल

• Constable (General Duty/ Operator) – 15 Marks
• Constable (Driver/ Mounted/ Band/ Dog-Squad) – 10 Marks

Marks Allotment :

Allotted Marks Based On Completed Time Of Running (Based On Previous Year)

Proficiency Test :

Candidates who successfully qualified in the physical efficiency will go through proficiency test that will carry 15 Marks to judge their suitability for these posts.

Constable (Driver)

Candidates will go through some practical tests in which their driving skills and how he/she maintained vehicle will be observed.

(a) Stop Test- 2 Marks
(b) Steering Test- 2 Marks
(C) Slalom Test – 4 Marks
(d) Driving of Heavy Vehicles (along with possession of Heavy Vehicle Driving license) – 4 Marks
(e) Removing three simple mechanical and electrical faults in the vehicle – 3 Marks

A Candidate fails the test if-
(1) Basic vehicle operation is not demonstrated smoothly.
(2) The driver cannot demonstrate control of the vehicle when driving and braking.
(3) The driver hits the obstacle(s).
(4) The driver cannot pass the slalom circuit. Candidates failing to qualify ii the proficiency test shall be disqualified for selection.

Constable (Band)

It Shall Include Different Practical tests on the Subject of band as under

(a) Playing of Band Instrument and Band tunes – 5 Marks
(b) Knowledge of Band Instrument & their maintenance – 5 Marks
(C) Knowledge of Bugle Playing – 5 Marks

Constable (Mounted)

You will have to go through several practice tests like riding horses, their maintenance and knowledges of this animal.

(a) Riding Skills Test – 10 Marks
(b) Knowledge about horses and their upkeep – 5 Marks

Constable (Dog Squad)

(a) You should have knowledge of dogs’ Breeds, Qualities and usefulness of dogs in Police Force – 6 Marks
(b) Knowledge of their Diet, Vaccination and Diseases of Dogs – 6 Marks
(C) Handling and being friendly with Dogs – 3 Marks

Special Qualification :

N.C.C. :

Home Guard :

Maximum Marks will be limited to 5 only in both case (NCC and  Home Guard).

Degree / Diploma in Police related Subjects :

Students who have such a degree/diploma would be awarded marks as enumerated in the table below. In there is any dispute regarding this, then decision of Vice Chancellor, SVP Police University, Jodhpur will be Final,

Final Cut Off Criteria

Final Cut Off Will Be based On The Total Marks Of Written Exam, Physical Efficiency Test/Measurement, Special Education & Skill Test / Proficiency Test Of Driver Post
