UP Police Sub Inspector (SI) Apply Online – Recruitment of Platoon Commander

The name of the post is Sub Inspector that is called “SI” in short.

There are total 5623 posts/vacancies.

The minimum of General candidates is 21 and maximum 28 years.

For other categories like OBC, minimum and maximum age is 21 and 33 years respectively. And for SC/ST category, minimum and maximum age is 21 and 33 years respectively that is same as OBC.

For sub inspector post, pay scale is > Rs. 9300-34,800 Grade Pay Rs. 4200/ –

Student applying for this post must be a graduate. Appearing candidates in final year of graduations are not eligible for this post.

For SI (Civil Police) and Platoon Commander PAC : Any Graduation Degree from any discipline or from any Recognized University Or any comparable capability endorsed by Government.

• Race–For Male candidates 4.8 Km. in 28 mints. On the other hand, for Female Candidates 2.4 Km. in 16 Minutes is required.
• Minimum height  for Male- 168 cm. (160 cm Only for ST Category). On the other hand, for Female Candidates minimum height must be 152 cm. (147 cm Only for ST Category).
• Chest (Only for Male) – 79 cm. (Expanding chest 84 cm). On the other hand, 77 cm just for ST Category.

You will have to go through three steps :- first online exam that would be a written exam, secondly there would a physical efficiency test that is called as PET exam. And finally, PMT test that is a short form of Physical Measurement Test. Document verification is also under this final process. You must know that final successful candidates will be selected on the basis of written exam marks. According to the new rule of Govt, interview process has been eliminated for UP Police SI Recruitment.
